Curiosity House Bookstore & Gallery is an independent bookstore with an emphasis on quality literature for adults and children, programming and author events. Our staff is friendly, articulate and well-read - always interested in making a recommendation. We have a great selection of books, but we know that you might be looking for something which isn’t easily found in a small bookstore. If we don’t have what you want in stock, we will be happy to special order any title which is currently in print. We even have an art gallery in the store, which shows the works of a different artist every month. Our opening receptions are usually held on the first Saturday of each month.

We have a Story Hour for children 18 months to 6 years, on the second Saturday of each month from 10:30 to 11:15 am. Children have the opportunity to listen to captivating stories and complete a simple craft. With a different artist every month in our Gallery, the opening on the first Saturday of the month is a chance to mingle and meet the artist. For your convenience, we are open seven days a week from 10 am to 5 pm, except for Saturdays, when we are open from 9 am to 5 pm. We are closed on Christmas Day and New Years Day.
